In-Pipe Technology Awarded Contract for Green Sewer Collection System Treatment in Huntington, NY

In-Pipe Technology’s G2 Dosing Panel

Wheaton, IL (PRWEB) March 27, 2012

In-Pipe Technology® Company, Inc. announced today the Town of Huntington, NY awarded a contract for In-Pipe to provide professional, green sewer collection system services to the wastewater treatment plant’s collection system to improve treatment efficiency and reduce energy and sludge processing costs at the plant. In-Pipe’s services will also improve Huntington’s nitrogen removal capability assisting the Town with meeting the future low nitrogen discharge limits. The Huntington treatment plant discharges to the Long Island Sound, and therefore must meet very low nitrogen limits in the near future.

This collaborative project will also be supported by Wendel Energy Services, which will work with In Pipe to maximize digester gas production and potentially provide a Combined Heat & Power (CHP) operation to significantly reduce Huntington’s power consumption from the grid. Additional goals of the project include increased rated capacity for treatment and fats, oils, and grease (FOG) elimination,

”We look forward to working with In-Pipe on this multifaceted project”, stated Neal Sheehan, Huntington’s Director of Environmental Waste Management. “Our major challenge is our future nitrogen limits, and In-Pipe appears to be able to provide a wide spectrum of tangible economic benefits in addition to reducing our nitrogen discharge loading.” John Williams, President & CEO of In-Pipe Technology added, “We look forward to working with the Huntington team. Everyone involved in the project is deeply committed to environmental stewardship.”

In-Pipe’s patented technology includes regularly adding a high concentration formulation of facultative, naturally-occurring, non-pathogenic bacteria to strategic locations throughout the sewer system in accordance with an engineered plan. This entails zero capital cost and no additional energy requirement. Performance in the collection system provides increased capacity within the plant, forestalls costly upgrades, and extends the life of the existing infrastructure.

In-Pipe Technology offers specialized technical expertise, strong customer understanding, and deep resource knowledge. Since In-Pipe uses natural, biological methods that complement the treatment plant’s own processes, In-Pipe is a sustainable solution ? environmentally and economically.

Green Mountain Energy Company Celebrates Earth Month by Donating $30,000 to Waco Habitat for Humanity ReStore for Solar Installation

Green Mountain Energy Company Celebrates Earth Month by Donating $ 30,000 to Waco Habitat for Humanity ReStore for Solar Installation

Green Mountain’s Tony Napolillo presents Habitat for Humanity Waco ReStore manager, Jim Fau with the $ 30,000 donation.

Waco, Texas (PRWEB) April 06, 2012

Green Mountain Energy Company is pleased to announce a donation of $ 30,000 to Waco Habitat for Humanity ReStore that will fund the ReStore’s conversion to solar power. The check was presented to the non-profit at a ceremony at the ReStore’s location on 1224 Franklin Ave. The donation is made possible through the Green Mountain EnergyTM Sun ClubTM, a program where customer contributions provide solar power installations for non-profit organizations. The Sun Club promotes clean energy awareness and has installed almost 500 kW of new solar power on the roofs of selected organizations.

In addition to the solar array that will be installed on the roof of the ReStore, Waco Habitat Executive Director, John Alexander is incorporating monitoring and measurement of the array within the courses he teaches at Baylor University. Similar plans are in the works for courses within McLennan Community College’s Environmental Studies program.

“Nonprofits like the Waco Habitat for Humanity ReStore are a prime example of organizations that are leading the sustainability movement,” said Tony Napolillo, Sun Club program manager, Green Mountain Energy Company. “Green Mountain is pleased to donate solar to communities like Waco, where our customers recognize the importance of preserving and improving the environment.”

Alexander agrees that conserving the environment begins within the communities. “We’ve wanted to implement solar at the ReStore for a long time as it aligns with our mission to implement sustainability and green, healthy living,” he said. “We are delighted that Green Mountain has provided us with the opportunity to continue progress in our development and execution of green initiatives.”

Habitat for Humanity unites communities and volunteers to build, repair and preserve homes for low-income families. In 2011, over 4,000 volunteers contributed almost 17,000 hours to Waco Habitat housing projects.

Age of Empires 2 The Conquerors: 1v1 Green Arabia on Hardest, Tutorial on Fast Castle and beating AI

REMEMBER TO SUBSCRIBE! I HAVE PLENTY OF OTHER AGE OF EMPIRES 2 VIDEOS! Don’t understand how to play online: www.youtube.com Essentially this match covers a great deal in an effective economic opening strategy. I demonstrate how to fast castle (hit the Castle Age very fast with a good economy) and how to defend against a crush. I also counter back with an ever stronger and more effective crush than my AI opponent. Looking back on this match I could have reached the castle age much faster if I didnt wait for that last villager to keep making, my population was a bit higher than it needed to be. Also the AI for the first time in a long time, actually caught me off guard. I honestly didn’t expect an attack from Mangudai at 15:00 minutes in. So that changed the course of the game a lot, but in the end, I conquered him. I was playing as the Celts to demonstrate how to play a civ with no significant economic bonuses that would change the fast castle strategy. Besides of course the wood bonus. Thanks for watching, please remember to rate/comment/subscribe to motivate me to keep making more videos. For all of you that subscribed last video helped me get this video out much earlier that I was planning on doing it. In order to fast castle effectively: I recommend you watch the video in the beginning a few more times till you can sort of mimic what happens. Essentially always start by building as many villagers as you can at your town center and immediately take your starting
