Question by Captain Troll: Why is conversation and ecology so important for human survival?
Answer by Forest Fest
if parts of the enviroment die off, the whole ecosystem shifts
homeostasis will resume in a different form and the elements of the enviroment we have come to rely will no longer support our needs.
eg. if we kill off salmon they will no longer be swimming up river and brining important nutrients up stream with them. Pine trees forests with salmon poulations in the main river systems require this. (we need trees for wood, paper and oxygen)
Bears will have less to eat and will interfere with human populations.
