In the past Y/A has attempted to keep accurate about what they offer, it is a complete disregard for them to only have Global Warming as a category without it being a sub category of Climate Change.

Global Warming is a subcategory of Climate Change. If one only sees a bit of a fact, they are less likely to consider all the facts, if you show the entire picture, it makes more sense.

Why isn’t Climate Change a category?

Best answer:

Answer by Go Cubs Go
I doubt they ever do that. It would be nice but I doubt it happens.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 18, 2012

Acting on its commitment to increase national awareness of economic and environmental sustainability, the U.S. Green Chamber of Commerce is announcing the launch of 100 Cities for Change on Earth Day, April 22nd. This campaign marks the organization’s first national push for individuals, businesses and cities to come together and pledge their support for socially responsible business.

“100 Cities for Change is not just about saying you or your business is ‘green.’ We know that word has started to lose meaning for people over time. We are looking for a complete paradigm shift,” said David Steel, chief executive officer for the USGCC. “This is about provoking and inspiring people to utilize sustainable business practices and revitalize the goal of a triple bottom line – people, planet and profit.”

By pledging to join 100 Cities for Change, people across the nation will be taking part in a grassroots movement of thousands of businesses and countless individuals who are racing to prove change is necessary now and that sustainability can and will boost the bottom line.

The USGCC is also premiering its third party certification program designed to teach organizations best practices for sustainable business while helping to attract eco-conscious consumers. The certification program, which will launch in May, provides:

•Initiatives developed by outside regulatory entities including trade related organizations and the EPA.

•Step-by-step plans to achieve sustainable goals and business practices

•A trusted certification seal to protect against claims of “green washing”

•Consumer transparency – QR code technology is provided, allowing consumers to scan the code on a business’ storefront or website and instantly see its progress toward green and sustainability initiatives.

“The USGCC’s long-standing belief is that the triple bottom line is not only important, but it works together seamlessly to support the business environment and societal goals,” said Steel. “Whether your business is looking to improve efficiencies, implement eco-friendly practices or tap into emerging markets, our goal is to be a resource and a facilitator of change. Empowerment is crucial to generate innovation, job creation, and a brighter economic future.”

Individuals can join the movement by “liking” the U.S. Green Chamber’s Facebook page and becoming a member on the U.S. Green Chamber website.

“Cities for Change” memberships are available for $ 99 which include over $ 2,000 of benefits including green certification, inclusion in the national business directory, a website proud member logo, a USGCC trust seal, access to a national mentor program through SCORE, media blast announcements, a press release template and more.

About the U.S. Green Chamber:

The U.S. Green Chamber is a nonprofit organization that empowers businesses to grow through environmentally friendly, sustainable practices that positively impact our economy and ecology.

Question by : I get to vote for the first time this year. What’s the point in voting when the election is rigged for Obama?
I’m twenty & thought about voting for the Independent party because Mitt Romney will be sucked dry by the liberals come November. Obama can’t even find a forged birth certificate; it took him 3 years. Mitt Romney will soon have a full report on his kindergarten incident where he pinched another classmate. Was Obama even in kindergarten? I’m tired of hearing about how great Obama is at my liberal college. Some liberal group on campus invited me to one of their meetings because they saw that I made the Dean’s list. I emailed them back saying that, “Well, I must have cheated on my tests like the so-called Republicans do. You guys don’t want me in your smart group.” This upcoming election is fixed for Obama. I don’t want to vote for a guy who wants taxpayers to pay for twelve year old girls’ birth control pills so that they will be encouraged to have premarital sex & get knocked up at fourteen. Mitt Romney isn’t perfect, but I’d rather have him in the White house than Obama. “It’s the economy, stupid!” Well, even my liberal economics professor said that the economy hasn’t really impoved since Obama was elected. Should I just vote for the green party? I mean, my favorite color is green just like the democrats’ favorite color is black. Remember, I said No-Bama; not Mo-Bama!

In order to get his share of the willed inheritance, Jason must complete 12 separate assignments within a year. Each assignment is centered around a “gift”. Gifts of money, friends and learning are among the dozen that Jason must perform before he is eligible for the mysterious “Ultimate Gift” his grandfather’s will has for him. At one point everything is taken from him and he lives as a homeless man sleeping in the park; another time he visits a developing country where even old library books are a treasure. Along the way, the movie spins a side story that was not in the novel, adding a romantic interest, Alexia (Ali Hillis), and her daughter Emily, an outspoken mysterious girl (Abigail Breslin) who, unbeknowst to Jason, is dying from leukemia. All throughout the movie, Jason helps Emily to have a great life while it lasts. As Jason works through these twelve gifts in twelve months, he comes to see Red Stevens as more than a dead billionaire. At the end of the film he chooses to use his entire inheritance to build a hospital, called Emily’s home (named after Emily), for cancer patients and their families. He has exceeded the expectations of his dead grandfather and receives …

Kent, Ohio (PRWEB) April 17, 2012

Kent Displays announced today that CEO Dr. Albert Green was chosen as one of seven new members named to the Manufacturing Council, a private sector committee that directly advises U.S. Secretary of Commerce John Bryson. The exclusive council, which is made up of 25 private sector members, was created in 2004 to act as a direct conduit between the U.S. Department of Commerce and the manufacturing sector by promoting a partnership across all industry sectors to continuously increase the United States’ global manufacturing competitiveness.

“I am pleased to welcome our seven new members to the Manufacturing Council,” said Secretary Bryson. “Dr. Green brings valuable experience and will play an important role in our ability to promote innovation, economic growth, and continue to level the playing field for American manufacturing firms and workers.”

As the CEO of Kent Displays, an advanced manufacturer of LCDs located in Kent, Ohio, Dr. Green is highly qualified to lend his expertise as a council member to the Commerce Department, the Secretary of Commerce, other council members and the U.S. manufacturing community. Since taking the reins as CEO in 2007, Dr. Green has led Kent Displays’ transformation from a focus on research and development to the design and manufacture of consumer electronics products. As part of this transformation, the company developed and installed a revolutionary roll-to-roll LCD production line in Kent in 2008. The line mass manufactures Reflex® No Power LCDs from rolls of conductor-coated plastic. The installation of a second roll-to-roll line, which is expected to triple LCD production capacity, was announced in early 2012.

Dr. Green spearheaded the formation of Improv Electronics, a consumer products subsidiary of Kent Displays, and the launch of the company’s first consumer product, the Boogie Board eWriter. The electronic, fun and eco-friendly alternative to paper, which utilizes a Reflex LCD for its writing surface, was an immediate sales success and is now sold in nearly 30 countries. Boogie Board eWriter sales have helped Kent Displays double revenue and employment in the past two years.

Prior to his appointment to the Manufacturing Council, Dr. Green provided his expertise to the U.S. government in several capacities: as an advisor to President Barack Obama’s Export Council, as a business delegation member for the 2011 U.S. Commerce Trade Mission to India led by Secretary Gary Locke, and as a participant in the export session of President Obama’s Winning the Future Small Business Forum in 2011.

Dr. Green is also a key figure in growing the flexible electronics industry cluster in Northeast Ohio. He serves on the Board of Directors for NorTech, a non-profit organization geared toward driving economic development through technology in the region, and chairs the FlexMatters steering committee. FlexMatters is an initiative launched by NorTech to recognize the flexible electronics cluster in the region and to accelerate its growth.

“I have shared my experiences as the CEO of Kent Displays with leaders of government and business at every level, and I am eager to contribute my perspective on an even broader scale through the Manufacturing Council,” said Dr. Green. “Kent Displays is one of many U.S. companies entering new frontiers in manufacturing. The knowledge and expertise of innovation companies like ours is vital to the continued success of U.S. manufacturing on a global level.”

The Manufacturing Council, which was re-chartered on April 5, 2012 for a two-year term, also works to ensure that the United States continues to experience success as the global frontrunner in attracting manufacturing investments from all over the world. It is comprised of 25 members from various industries.
