I believe it has to do with the government. If they are controlling dictatorships and do not allow the free market and capitalism to thrive they are limiting the economy of their nation. Many rulers are empowered to line their own pockets and don’t give a damn about their nation. It has nothing to do with being educated – it has to do with the control of their government and how they control the population. Socialism – Dictatorships – Communism has not worked in building a developed nation.

Alex Jones Show for Sunday, February 12, 2012 (Full)

On this Live Sunday edition, Alex is joined by author and top researcher on the UN’s Agenda 21, Rosa Koire, a veritable expert on the creeping takeover of cities and states under the paralyzing guise of the buzzword “sustainability.” Koire’s book, BEHIND THE GREEN MASK: UN Agenda 21, not only deconstructs the agenda’s aims with solid facts, but is designed for use as a study guide and starting point for developing a strategy to defeat its effects in your area. Rosa Korie is Executive Director of the Post Sustainability Institute, where she studies the impacts of Agenda 21/Sustainable Development on liberty, and also runs the website Democrats Against UN Agenda 21. In the news, Alex tackles the tragic early death of singer Whitney Houston, and exposes the reality that prescription drugs are posing a greater danger to society than illegals drugs and many other public ills. Also, plans to release GMO mosquitoes in Florida to combat native populations mark a new beginning of actively releasing dangerously under-tested new species into the wild– with possible ramifications and consequences unknown. On the geo-political front, calls for the United Nations to put peacekeepers on the ground in Syria further escalate the possibilities for regional war, while Ron Paul supporters have cried foul over the Maine caucuses, where “official” results in the delegate-driven straw polls appeared to present Mitt Romney with a narrow win over Dr. Paul. www.infowars.com prisonplanet.tv

blogs.mccombs.utexas.edu We are at a strategic inflection point, a time in the life of a business (or country) when its fundamentals are about to change, says John Doggett, senior lecturer in management at McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin. Goldmans BRIC predictions were based on population growth, the rule of small to large numbers, which was previously ignored. As of March 2010, 42 percent of the worlds population are in BRIC, 22 percent of the worlds land mass and 24 percent of global gross domestic product. This is .2 trillion larger than Americas GDP. By 2035, Goldman Sachs predicts that China will be the largest economy in the world and that India will be tied with America for second. Wayne Beeson Publishes New Articles on Entrepreneurship

Wayne Beeson

Draper, UT (PRWEB) March 21, 2012

Wayne Beeson’s articles on entrepreneurship, published at entrepreneurshiprevealed.com, focus on the value of entrepreneurial skills to individuals, families, and nations. He defines an entrepreneur as an individual who pursues innovations with the objective of creating economic value, and he maintains that entrepreneurship holds the keys to increased living standards for families and the prosperity of nations. In addition, his articles on entrepreneurship provide research based knowledge from the entrepreneurship academic community, as well as recent initiatives to stimulate the U.S. economy and even international economic development in war-torn areas like Afghanistan and Iraq.

Benefits to individuals, families and nations come as a result of the mindset of most entrepreneurs, as Mr. Beeson notes in a recent article on entrepreneurship with this quote from George Gilder: “While the entitled children speak of an absence of worthwhile work, the entrepreneurs hold three jobs at one time. While the entitled children ache at the burden of laboring nine to five, the entrepreneurs rise before dawn and work happily from five to nine. While the entitled children complain that success comes from “contacts” with the high and mighty – and talk of the frustrations of “politics” – the entrepreneurs ignore politics and make their contacts with workers and customers. While the entitled children see failure as a catastrophe – a reason to resign – the entrepreneur takes it in stride as a spur to a new struggle.”

Mr. Beeson is a long-time associate and proponent of Dr. Ronald K. Mitchell’s internationally research initiatives on entrepreneurship ranging from how to improving startup business success to transforming former centrally planned economies to market economies. In addition, he is supportive of The Kauffman Foundation and their research- based initiatives to promote entrepreneurship as a vital component of growth of the U.S. economy, as well as the foundation’s recommendations that the U.S. government incorporate entrepreneurship in international economic development counterinsurgency and disaster relief efforts.

Wayne Beeson blogs at http://www.entrepreneurshiprevealed.com and provides comprehensive online marketing consulting, with particular interest in online marketing partnering opportunities: http://www.waynebeeson.com.

What benefits can developing nations garner from a free global economy?

Question by mynamesdan: What benefits can developing nations garner from a free global economy?
the only one i can figure is growth, or possibly efficiency- but these are not necessarily related to growth in profits.

can anyone explain a little further for me please?

Answer by Jeff L
Opening a market for their goods in other countries. For example, without free-trade, coffee bean farmers in developing countries could only sell their beans for tiny amounts of money in the local area. Now they can sell for much more to global companies in the developed world. Even though “fair-trade” advocates claim that developing countries underpay for goods from the developing world, they are paid much more than they could receive locally (otherwise they wouldn’t sell to the global companies) and thus have increased profits. Similar examples would hold for many other goods produced in the developing world.

Developing countries also benefit from access to technologies and innovations from the developed world. For example, there are mosquito nets produced in industrialized countries that are far superior to those that are produced in developing countries – and access to these nets helps to reduce Malaria rates (which also helps keep workers from getting sick and increases productivity, in addition to improving life-spans). So there are benefits from products that come into developing countries from outside as well.

Russia and China can build new world order — political scientist — RT

As the leaders of two of the world’s biggest and fastest-growing emerging economies meet in Moscow, political analysts predict the strategic co-operation between the two nations could shift the balance of power in the world. “I believe the world is now at a historic crossroads,” Dr Kiyul Chung told RT. “Or some may say the world is at the brink of either being subdued or overcoming the US/NATO military intervention in Libya, [which is] now moving possibly to Syria or even to Iran, if Russia and China, or [the] Shanghai Co-operation Organization are [too] weak to stop US-led NATO military aggression in [the] North African region So I hope Russia and China [can] lead this new global movement to balance the power in the world, so they can build new world order where no more unilateral, aggressive or even colonial methodology [is] being put into a sovereign nation such as Libya.” “China-Russia trade and economic relationship and huge development between the two nations, I believe, is not only impacting the European continent, but also the global scene,” added Dr Kiyul Chung. “This economic and trade relationship is not limited only to economy, it is also a strategic relationship. So, it is going to have a huge impact on the world.” US are jealous of Russian-Chinese ties — political analyst Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Centre of Trade and Economic Co-operation Sergey Sanakoev believes that China is one of the places where the real economy of the future lies, and choosing
