eGenerationMarketing is Proud to Announce the Release of Social Security Disability Benefits Document Generating Application

eGenerationMarketing is Proud to Announce the Release of Social Security Disability Benefits Document Generating Application

Boston, Massachusetts (PRWEB) November 22, 2011

eGenerationMarketing, one of the legal marketing industry’s top resources for Social Security Disability marketing, proudly released an update to their Client Portal after months of strenuous work. Prior to these updates, the Client Portal was utilized to organize the Social Security Disability leads sent to law firms by eGenerationMarketing.

Overall, the portal was greeted with praise and appreciation, as it allows for easy tracking on each lead, as well as the ability to convert individual leads to maintain retention rates. In the rare chance that a lead is invalid, the portal also allows the lead to be rejected by clients in order to be reviewed by the management at eGenerationMarketing for refund.

As a young and fast-moving company, eGenerationMarketing is constantly striving to enhance the quality and usability of their products. Despite the rapid nature of the lead-generating industry, however, eGenerationMarketing prides itself on the constant attention and care they demonstrate towards their clients.

“For us, it isn’t about just signing a law firm up and saying ‘I guess we’ll talk soon’,” said Sales and Client Relations manager Doug Cochrane.

“Keeping our clients satisfied is our utmost priority, and if we can make their lives easier, we will strive to make that happen.”

As an internet marketing firm, eGenerationMarketing is perceptive to the ways in which technology can increase the efficiency of the often stagnant and old-fashioned legal industry. Therefore, after months of brainstorming and polling clients, the company embarked on a mission to enhance the features of the Client Portal by constructing additional applications. The conclusion was to address the time consuming and tedious process of filling out Social Security Disability related paperwork. The goal became to take a process that normally requires hours of effort by an attorney or paralegal and streamline it using various programming principles within the Client Portal.

After a few weeks of tireless work from the development team, the complexities were overcome to create an easy to use interface that will greatly enhance the efficiency of any firm that uses it. The process is quite simple. Before, when clients would click into one of the case leads in the Client Portal, they had the option to convert, edit, or contest. Now, the newly launched option will allow clients to generate documents, which will take them to a window of various Social Security Disability benefit forms. From here, the client can pick and choose which forms they would like to have filled out by the portal. Once the forms have been chosen, the user can click for the documents to be generated, creating a PDF of all of the forms with the intake’s name and contact information inputted in the correct fields. From here, the forms will only require the specific information required of each to be filled in. Fortunately, the PDFs can be modified on the computer, or printed out and completed by hand.

Lastly, the document generating application allows the importation of additional materials and personalized letters. Considering every firm has a different procedure with regard to mailing material to its clients, these additional documents can be uploaded to the portal. All the client has to do is follow the very basic instructions to take advantage of the functionality of the auto-fill tool. Collectively, the document generating application takes hours of work being done by hand currently in the legal industry, and in one click on the computer, nearly completes all of the forms in seconds.

“In terms of the document generating portion of the portal, I think we have entirely accomplished our goal,” stated Chris Casey, one of the developers who worked on the project.

“It generates the documents immediately and is quite easy to use. I believe it will be very helpful to our clients and their firms. But as with all of our products, there is always room for improvement.”

eGenerationMarketing is an internet marketing firm out of Boston, Massachusetts, that works with legal practices on both the state and national levels to increase their volume of Social Security Disability cases. Using a combination of internet advertising, search engine optimization and other online marketing strategies, they are able to generate a high volume of low-cost, high quality Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income case leads. These leads are generated by websites considered to be some of the web’s top resources for finding out information about the application process, appealing a denial, what conditions can qualify, and, most importantly, finding legal representation to assist with a case. eGenerationMarketing acts as a bridge by connecting these people who are looking for help with their case by connecting them with either an advocate or an attorney in their area who is eager to assist them.

For more information on the Social Security Disability lead generating services or Client Portal offered by eGenerationMarketing, go to http://www.egenerationmarketing.com or call 617-800-0089.

Personalized Medicine Offers New Hope to People With Depression

Personalized Medicine Offers New Hope to People With Depression

Chalfont, PA (PRWEB) November 17, 2011

Depression has reached epidemic proportions in the United States. It affects approximately 19 million Americans or 9.5% of the population in any given one-year period. It is estimated that depression costs the United States $ 83 billion each year in lost productivity and increased medical expense.

A report issued last month by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that the rate of antidepressant use in the U.S. has increased nearly 400% since 1988 with about 11% of Americans aged 12 or older taking antidepressants.

Despite the increase in antidepressant use, studies have found that even the most popular antidepressants on the market work on only about half of the people who try them, and that as many as 30% of those who are clinically depressed aren’t helped by any of the drugs they have taken.

Dr. Ronald I. Dozoretz, the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Genomind, believes that a new approach to treating mental illness is needed. “The goal of our company is to bring science into the clinic and patient setting. We believe that this can best be achieved through the adoption of personalized medicine into psychiatry by assisting physicians in the selection of appropriate medicine based on genetic information.”

Dr. Jay Lombard, Chief Scientific Officer and Medical Director of Genomind and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University, says that the reason for the low response rate is not that the medications for depression and other mental disorders are ineffective. The problem is that there is little science to guide physicians in treating depressed patients.

“Studies demonstrate that antidepressants do work. There is no way for a doctor to know in advance which antidepressant is the best one for his or her patient. This sets up a trial-and-error process of trying different medications, or combinations of medications, until the right one is found. Patients and their families tell me this is one of the most frustrating aspects of treatment,” Dr. Lombard says.

Antidepressant medications can take between 4 to 6 weeks to work. And it can take several weeks for the drug to be out of a person’s system before a new one can be started. “You don’t see this trial-and-error approach in cancer chemotherapy, where there is great effort to find exactly the right regimen for the right patient because consequences of the wrong treatment can be substantial.”

Rather than the trial-and-error process we now have, Dr. Lombard believes the answer to better treatments for mental illness needs to be science-based. “We know that specific genetic variations modify the body’s response to various drugs and therapies. By identifying these variations, clinicians can design an optimized treatment plan likely to be most effective for that individual patient. This new development, known as personalized medicine, has the potential to increase effectiveness and lower costs in a wide range of medical specialties. Most research and clinical applications for biomarker testing to date have been applied to a limited range of markers, including cancer and anticoagulation, but not to mental health. The reason I was one of the co-founders of Genomind was to help this enormous, underserved population and specifically seeks to facilitate the adoption of personalized medicine to mental health.”

The Genecept™ Assay is the first commercial product of Genomind, a company specializing in neuropsychiat-ric personalized medicine and was formed to facilitate the adoption of personalized medicine into psychiatry by providing genetic information to better understand the patient. It combines a proprietary panel of genetic tests and an analytical report to be used by clinicians. In addition, the Genecept Assay is coupled with Genomind psychopharmacologist assistance for clinicians, together with emerging education and information concerning neuropsychiatric disorders and pharmacogenomics. Genomind has unique intellectual property for this integrated approach and product.

Dr. Lombard cautions that these biomarker tests are not to be used for diagnosis, but rather as a tool for clinicians to more fully understand their patient’s genotype and assist in understanding potential responses to medications.

Dr. Lombard presented data from a new study at the 2011 Neuroscience Education Institute (NEI) Global Psychopharmacology Congress held November 10-13 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The presentation, entitled, “Does Pharmacogenetic Testing in Psychiatry Influence Clinician Treatment Selection and Confidence?” reported that 76% of early adopter clinicians say that the Genecept™ Assay influenced their treatment of patients, 67% say they elected to make changes to treatment, and 87% say the test increased their confidence in treatment decisions.

The authors of the study besides Dr. Lombard, were Roy Perlis, MD, Director, Center for Experimental Drugs and Diagnostics, Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Psychiatry and Associate Professor, Harvard Medical School, and Bryce Kasuba, MA, MBA, and Rachel Dicker, PharmD of Genomind.

“We were pleased to be able to present our data at the NEI conference about how genetic testing can help clinicians be more confident about the treatment decisions they make,” said Dr. Lombard. “As opposed to trial-and-error, a personalized medicine approach has great promise for making better choices about treatment, and we anticipate seeing further data that will support the results from our early adopter program.”

Bill McKibben: Why I Spent 2 Days in Jail Protesting the Keystone XL Tar Sands Oil Pipeline

DemocracyNow.org – Fifty-two environmental activists were arrested Monday in front of the White House as part of an ongoing protest calling on the Obama administration to reject a permit for the 1700-mile Keystone XL pipeline project, which would deliver Canada tar sands oil to refineries in Texas, and rather focus on developing clean energy. An estimated 2000 people have signed up to hold sit-ins and commit other acts of civil disobedience outside the White House everyday for the next two weeks — 162 have already been arrested since Saturday. Also joining the protest are indigenous First Nations communities in Canada and landowners along the Keystone XL pipeline’s planned route. An editorial in Sunday’s New York Times joined in calling on the State Department to reject the pipeline, noting that the extraction of petroleum from the tar sands creates far more greenhouse emissions than conventional production. Meanwhile, oil-industry backers of the project emphasize what they say are the economic benefits of the billion proposal. As the Obama administration remains undecided whether to approve the Keystone XL pipeline, Democracy Now! speaks with Bill McKibben in Washington, DC, where he was released Monday after spending two nights in jail. He is part of Tar Sands Action, a group of environmentalists, indigenous communities, labor unions and scientific experts, calling for action to stop the project. “This is the first real civil disobedience of this scale for the
